Royal Rajasthan Ride

Overview

Step into the heart of Rajasthan on a journey where history, culture, and stunning landscapes come to life. Starting in Udaipur, the enchanting Lake City, this ride takes you through the dense Ghanerao Forest, across vast plains, and along dry riverbeds, all the way to the serene Jawai Lake. The adventure continues with a scenic transfer to Ranakpur, followed by the Palace to Palace ride, ending in the vibrant blue city of Jodhpur.

This remarkable ride offers a true taste of Rajasthan’s countryside, traditions, and heritage, all experienced from the back of one of the region’s finest animals – the Marwari horse. The ride covers an average of 25–30 km daily, with 4 to 6 hours spent in the saddle, offering plenty of time for relaxing picnics and cultural exploration.

Along the way, enjoy sightseeing stops at Udaipur’s City Palace, Kumbhalgarh Fort, the stunning Ranakpur Temple, and the majestic Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur. Each destination provides a deeper connection to the rich history and culture of Rajasthan, making it a journey unlike any other.

The Marwari horse is the star of this ride. Known for their strength, stamina, and unique beauty, these horses have been the trusted companions of Rajasthan’s royal families for centuries. Their distinctive lyre-shaped ears, which rotate and touch at the tips, make them one of the most recognizable horse breeds in the world. Intelligent, loyal, and resilient, Marwaris are perfectly suited to Rajasthan’s harsh climate and rugged terrain. Their agility, elegance, and smooth gait make them ideal for long rides through the diverse landscapes of the region. These horses are more than just companions; they are living symbols of Rajasthan’s royal heritage and equestrian tradition.

Leading this unforgettable adventure is Dr. Rao Ajeet Singh, a true expert in Marwari horses and the rich traditions of Rajasthan. With over 20 years of experience in horse safaris, Ajeet’s passion for the Marwari breed shines through in every aspect of the ride. Raised in a family with a deep horsemanship legacy, Ajeet inherited his father’s love for horses and has built a stable of over 50 Marwari horses, each trained to perfection. Ajeet is renowned for his expertise in organizing royal pageants and processions, and his meticulous attention to detail ensures a smooth and memorable ride. His dedication to preserving the traditions of Rajasthan’s equestrian culture makes him the perfect guide for this extraordinary journey.

The Royal Rajasthan Ride combines adventure, culture, and the spirit of Rajasthan, offering a one-of-a-kind experience on horseback. Whether exploring ancient forts, traversing vast deserts, or simply enjoying the beauty of the land, each day on this ride brings new discoveries.

This is more than just a horse safari; it’s an opportunity to experience Rajasthan’s history, culture, and natural beauty in the most intimate and authentic way possible. With expert guides, incredible horses, and unforgettable landscapes, this ride promises to be a journey of a lifetime.
