Centered Riding
How about taking advantage of your stay on Mallorca to participate in a Centered Riding Course? Centered Riding was developed by Sally Swift and is an innovative way of learning classical principles of riding, using body awareness, centering, and imagery. Centered Riding is not a separate seat or discipline but encompasses all seats and styles of riding. It teaches a language that allows clearer communication between horse and rider.

Through increasing body awareness, inhibiting old patterns, and replacing them with a more balanced, free, and coordinated use of self, both horse and rider can move more freely and comfortably, and develop their best performance. As you learn and experience the principles through your horse’s motion and responses, you and your horse tune in to each other and work together in harmony. Most of all, it makes riding more enjoyable for horses and riders.

Son Menut offers you the services of a licensed Centered Riding instructor and a wide variety of horses to practice on.

The program includes 4 sessions of centered riding or groundwork with a total of approximately 8 hours. As well as a 2 hour trail in the countryside plus a 1.5 hour theory lesson during the week and a non-riding visit to Portocolom Bay.

Dressage Program with Stallions
The Andalusian stallions program is the best choice for those riders who love P.R.E. horses and want to improve their riding skills. The Andalusian horses are beautiful and enjoyable to ride. Includes:

• 6 hours of dressage lessons throughout the week

• During the months of April, May, June, and September you will enjoy a countryside long trail with a snack in the area of Son Negre (duration 4 hours and a half).

• During the other months you will do a 2 hour trail in the countryside plus 1.5 hour dressage lesson.

• On the free day of riding, you will enjoy a day to relax and visit Portocolom Bay

• Riding level – Intermediate/advanced (more than 6 years riding)

Learn To Ride
The Learn To Ride Program covers a wide range of people looking to gain more confidence in the saddle. Whether completely new to the world of horses, an intermediate looking to improve their skills, or an experienced rider returning to the sport after a long absence, this program will help you find your footing and allow you to leave with new skills and memories. This program is particularly well-suited to families who want to ride together and enjoy time on horseback with their children. Those who choose this package will ride 5 hours of lessons and 5 hours on the trail, with trail rides ranging from 1 to 2 hours. Between rides you can lie by the pool and enjoy the sun or watch other riders being trained in the arenas.

Jumping Program
This program is for people who want it all: dressage on fantastic Andalusian horses, trails through amazing nature, and intensive hours of jumping and flatwork. Have the best possible holiday by combining riding training with sun and good food and drink. You will get 4.5 hours flatwork and jumping lessons and 3 hours of dressage lessons. All this is accompanied by a comfortable room in which to rest after intensive days on horseback. During April, May, June and September, this program includes a 4.5 hours of trail along the countryside. During the other months they will do a 2h trail on the countryside plus 1.5h flatwork and jumping lesson.

Equikinetic Program
How about taking advantage of your stay on Mallorca to learn the most efficient way of preparing your horse physically? Welcome to the Equikinetic ®️ And Dual Activation ®️ Program. In this course you will acquire fundamental knowledge about the anatomy of horses and how their brain works, to understand how to train them in a healthy and efficient way. It consists of theoretical classes, groundwork and ridden exercises. At Son Menut we offer you the services of a licensed Geitner-trainer and a gran variety of horses to practice with. The classes are totally flexible and varied. Includes:

• 1 day of Equikinetic

• 2 days of Dual Activation (ground work and ridden), as well as the position and flat work may be combined according to the your needs and wishes.

• These exercises are divided into 4 sessions during the week with a total of approx. 9 hours.

• Also includes a 2 hour trail in the countryside plus a 1.5 hour lesson during the week and a non-riding visit to Portocolom Bay.
