Whatever your riding ability, Gleneagles Luxury Equestrian Hotel offers the perfect level of equine fun and training to suit your individual needs. Here are some ideas of current packages, but we can make up individual tailored packages on request for any number of nights, hours and riding ability.

Beginner Rider
At Gleneagles you can arrive a completer beginner or novice and after your first assessment ride, given a personalised itinerary, including a variety of fun lessons and beautiful hacking out in the Scottish countryside.
Pleasure Rider
At Gleneagles if you can ride, there is a horse to suit and you can have a go at any discipline you would like to discover at any level, from lovely hacking out in the Scottish countryside, to taking a show jumping lesson, a flat lesson or going out on the xcountry course and having a fun time jumping the course at any level from logs up to 1 metre. You can request and mix and match whatever discipline you’d like to choose.
Sport Rider
At Gleneagles there is a good mix of horses to suit the more advanced rider, giving you the opportunity to choose from show jumping up to 1.10m, eventing with a choice of 250 jumps for all levels, dressage up to medium and for a bit of relaxation away from the training, some beautiful hacking out in the Scottish countryside.
NOTE: Because of the Scottish weather and ground conditions, hacking is usually only available from April to October, the rest of the time, there are lessons, dressage show jumping and natural fences available in the indoor and outdoor school.
Included – All riding as per described, standard room accommodation including breakfast, plus full use of the Health Club Facilities.
Excluded – Flights, transfers, other meals, drinks and tips.
Getting There
BY TRAIN
If you wish to arrive by train, Gleneagles has its own Station less than 2 minutes from the hotel and offer complimentary transfers, just let us know what time you are arriving, and we will be there to meet you.
Gleneagles is on the main London to Inverness line. You can travel by train directly from London Kings Cross to Gleneagles Station in just over 5 and a half hours. With wireless internet and a complimentary chauffeur transfer between the station and Gleneagles, this is a luxurious and environmentally friendly way to travel.
BY PLANE
Edinburgh and Glasgow airports are both approximately one hour’s drive away. Arrangements can also be made to land helicopters at the hotel.

Level of Riding & Pace – Beginner to Advanced. The equestrian centre is well set up to take guests who have never ridden before or guests who ride very well and even compete, as they have such good instructors and fabulous facilities. There are 4 Instructors up to BHSQ Level 4.
Tack – English style.
Weight Restriction – 15 Stone / 95 kg / 210 lbs.
Group Size – Maximum 4 riders to any lesson or hack.
Bedrooms include Estate rooms, Manor Rooms and Country rooms.
Suites include Royal Lochnager Suite, Tower Suite, Whisky Suites 1 and 2 bedroom and Estate Suite.
All the rooms are 5-star luxury and include high end bath products, robes, WIFI, TV & Complimentary movies, Hair Dyer, Kettle, Pillow Menu & Air Con.
