*All meal options are available in June, July, August. From March to October breakfast & lunch are provided and the price reduced. Other winter months do not include meals and price is further reduced. Please ask for quotes.

Getting There
International flight to Dublin

There is a bus from Dublin airport to Kilbeggen (1.5 hours), from here we can arrange a complimentary transfer. We also recommend hiring a car, Dublin airport is a 1.5 hour drive.

Note: Although the centre is open all year round, the programs which offer full board are only available in June, July and August. For the rest of the year you have access to the kitchen to prepare your own meals or you can head to the local pub for a delicious Irish meal.

Annaharvey is a 390 acre farm and woodland complete with homely accommodation, a stable of great Irish horses and over 200 cross country jumps to cater for all levels of jumping. Family run and based in the heart of Ireland, Annaharvey is the perfect spot if you want love jumping, want to gain experience and confidence or just do a lot of cross country riding in the lovely green Irish countryside on good solid horses. Sam and Aisling run the horsey side of the farm; Sam is a qualified course builder and both he and Aisling regularly compete in Ireland bringing a wealth of experience that can be seen in the set up. Annaharvey as well as offering guest holidays also hosts numerous hunter trials and Eventing Ireland competitions throughout the year and is well respected as one of Ireland’s bestt cross country venues.


Horses – Irish Sport Horses, Irish Draft mixes, Connemara mixes & Childrens Ponies

Level of Riding & Pace – Beginner to Advanced. The equestrian centre is well set up to take guests who have never ridden before or guests who ride very well and compete. They have first class instructors and fabulous facilities. Of note, is their brilliant cross country course with 300 plus jumps.

Tack – English & mostly snaffe bridles

Weight Restriction – 16 Stone / 102 kg / 224 lbs.

The old farmhouse is your accommodation at Annaharvey and everyone is welcomed as part of the family. The rooms are ensuite, comfortable and cosy. The food is home cooked by Lynda and her team and you definitely won’t go hungry. If you visit during the months where food is not included (off season) there is a great variety of local restaurants and pub food to choose from in the village. You are also welcome to cook your own food in the farmhouse.

A typical day at Annaharvey would be:

Breakfast and a chat with a member of the team to discuss your days riding

Off to the yard to meet your horse and mount

Two hours of riding, depending on what you have chosen, this could be a hack, a jumping lesson, a flat lesson or instruction round the xcountry course

One hour of riding – choice of hack, lessons or xcountry course

Afternoon break to chill: read a book, watch a movie, take a walk, go for a drink in the local pub

Dinner & evening relaxation, pub visit, walk or read a book.

We like to organise personal programs suited to individuals, groups and families or see our ‘Dates & Prices’ section for a mix of ideas.
