I wanted to let you know how I got on at the Colorado Cattle Company, it was fantastic. From the day that I got there the atmosphere was brilliant.

It was a quiet week in terms of guests and there was only a German couple who stayed for part of the week, the rest of the time that I was there I was on my own, but I never once felt alone! The wranglers Amaya and Tyson are what made the week special - nothing was too much trouble and they genuinely want to make sure that you are 100% happy all of the time.

Betsy the photographer ensured that every moment was captured on camera which is great especially when you are traveling on your own. They even managed to teach me to Rope a Steer from a horse and there is a video as evidence. Most importantly they ensured that I got my love for riding back and made sure that I was always happy with the pace, and I can report that I have been riding my horses daily since I have been back and I have been really enjoying it which is exactly what I had hoped to get from the holiday. I even bought a rope so that I can practice.

Definitely I would give the trip 10/10. Thank you for all of your help and I hope to go back next year!

Well, what can I say but a big massive thanks - I had the holiday of a life-time and enjoyed every minute, just a pity it had to come to an end! From the moment I arrived in Quito until I left I was so well looked after - the organisation from your end and from Sally's was exceptional. Our guide Fernando was brilliant, and the 3 horses I rode just great, I had a real soft spot for Cuchi-fitu (much to the amusement of my companions) - I think my canter seat has vastly improved: as we sped through the valley of the volcanoes!

And the food? I didn't expect such amazing gastronomy. I def want to book up for another ride, thinking perhaps I'll do Europe next Autumn then another big trip the following year - I fancy Peru as I'm not finished with South America just yet... Can you pass on my thanks to Sally and love to Cuchi-Fitu (and Tostada and Carilla!)

My only tip would be that you highlight the Colorado Cattle Company more on your website, the place is amazing, people amazing and riding amazing. I loved my time there and unfortunately it was over way too soon! The time spent at CCC was way beyond my expectations, as you know I travelled alone and from the moment Tom picked me up at the airport I felt immediately like part of the family.

Many thanks once again for all your help, it really was a once in a life time trip that I will always remember.

I had an amazing, fabulous holiday and I would just like to thank you so much for organizing everything to perfection for Mandy and myself! It really was living my dream holiday! I don't think I have come back to reality yet! Mel and family and staff were wonderful hosts! Food was superb and the horses were all so well mannered and behaved!

I met some lovely people on the holiday (other guests) so hope to stay in touch with them and exchange photographs! I will certainly book my next riding holiday with you and tell everyone about your superb travel business!

Joe Prendergast on Boutique Ranch, Mexico

Just a thank you for putting the holiday together for me. It was just what I wanted, I got to see Mexico's way of life close up. We had a visit to the Piremeds, a morning at the local market, and a night at a village dance. The ranch is very well run, I had a room a little away from the main house. I must have gone on 16 rides and never covered the same ground.

I rode three different horses each a little faster than the other but all very well trained. We did steep rock climbs, vast flat plains and some wooded stream sides. Just perfect!

Chrissie Pine on Rancho Las Cascadas, Mexico

The terrain was just as I imagined. I felt like I was in a western film - I rode up steep rocky mountains, across railway lines, galloped through lots of cacti - it was really exciting. I felt like I was in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
