We’re delighted to add Uganda to the ever-growing list of fascinating countries worldwide where we offer top-class horse riding holidays and horseback adventures.

Our first horse riding holiday in Uganda is a unique opportunity to trek along the banks of the mighty River Nile, starting at its source at Jinja in the south of the country and proceeding northwards.

Along the way, you will pass through traditional Ugandan villages, areas of crops and jungle, the edge of Lake Victoria, sugar cane and tea plantations, swamps, and even rain forest areas, since Uganda sits right on the equator.

The views are spectacular and there are a multitude of bird species to be seen, monkeys galore, and if you are lucky, some of the more elusive animals, like mongoose and antelope, might make an appearance too.

Your hosts on this horse riding holiday in Uganda will be Natalie McComb and TJ Lonsdale, and one of them will lead your trip, over either a five-night or seven-night itinerary. The horses used are ideally suited for the terrain and the climate, while there are lots of other activities to enjoy too when you are not on horseback, such as white water rafting, paddle boarding, quad biking, bungee jumping, and more.
